Blender move to a straight view

In this video tutorial we show you how to move to a straight view from a user view by selecting a face and hitting shift+numpad 7.

Written version:

It often helps us to better understand the geometry in our scene, when we spin the viewport around. Many operations however benefit from having a straight view, for example when you want to make straight cuts with the knife tool.

The good news is that you can easily move to a straight view from your user view. Just select a face that you want to view straightly and hit shift + numpad 7. This will align your view to a top view of the selected face, making it easy to perform various operations that benefit from having a straight view.
